For the longest time, I have been trying to get Brady to say "Lala" and for the longest time all he would do was just smile at me. So I would keep trying to get him to say it. I mean c'mon, he can say everyone name (or his version of it.)
I started to get a little discouraged, when we were at my sister's a few weekends ago and he come running around the corner, saw Jason, threw his arms in the air and said, "Ja." But the kicker came two days ago, I was at my mom's after work. Brady kept saying "Tay" which mom explained was his way of saying Kaitlyn (who btw is my littlest sis.) After I heard that my heart just sank. I know what y'all are thinking, why are you getting so upset about this.
Why? Well I'll tell you why. About a year ago, I told everyone that I thought it would be easier for him to say Lala instead of Rissa. I guess I was wrong...Until yesterday, he was dancing around Nana's living room and I said, "Brady, can you say Lala?" He stopped dancing and started smiling again and said "Lala," then ran and gave me a hug. He finally said it, Brady finally said my name.
I tell you what, I thought my heart was going to burst I was so happy. It was kinda like the day Ryan said "Momma" for the first time. Almost...Man, I love those boys.
