If you remember we had a tire that was loosing air. So Saturday morning I got up bright and early, left the guys at the hotel and found my way to the closest Discount Tire for a new tire. I got there right as they opened. I was in and out, in an impressive 30 minutes. Thanks you TXS02.
I got back to the hotel around 8:45 and we got ready for our trip to the Market Sqaure (El Mercado) for breakfast.
When you first get there it is kind of overwhelming with everything going on.
We made our way made our way to Mi Tierra Cafe and Bakery.
I had never been there before and when we walked in, it was crazy packed with people. Lucky for us half those people were in line waiting for the bakery. It didn't take very long for us to be seated. Jason and Ryan were very happy about that, apparently they were starving. Our breakfast was so delicious. After breakfast we just walked around the market square. Ryan and Jason must really love me because they just let me walk around for about an hour and did not one time complain. I love those guys.
Later we decided to just have a lazy day and we went to the hotel pool.
{Ryan was trying to balance on the rope that divided the pool}
Then the guys got hungry again, we were suppose to have dinner with my sister's family, but again they were starving. This time I decided that we were going to got back to Market Square to La Margaritas.
I love this place and so does Ryan. Ryan's favorite memory from our first trip when he was 6 yrs old was going to La Margaritas and the mariachi band playing for us...
Then we walked back to the hotel and got the truck and headed to meet the family. This was a disaster in the making, just the getting there part. First all the parking lots were full and the ones that weren't full were cash only and we didn't have any cash so we had to drive around and find an ATM. Then I got us lost trying to find another place to park. After about 40 minutes driving up and down the same rode we found a place to park. We met my sisters and had a great time catching up. After they left we walk along the riverwalk got lost, again. That's when we decided to call it a night.
On the way back to the truck we past by the St. Fernando Cathedral.
But this is how it looks at night. It was so beautiful!
I think everyone had a great time. It gave us a chance to relax and have fun. At least I know that I had fun :)
