July 4th is wonderful day. Not only is it America's birthday but it is also my Ryan's birthday.
Every year me and Jason always try to make it a special day outside of the normal 4th of July festivities. This year Jason decided that it would be fun to take him plus a friend to a Rangers baseball game. We were all excited about going, that was until the forecast was calling for thunderstorms for Friday afternoon. We quickly decided that we would postpone our game until the 23rd (good thing we did, the game was delayed for 2 hrs and didn't start until 10 pm). So Friday, instead of the game we took the Ryan to dinner at the restaurant of his choosing, which by the way was Chili's. It started out as just going to be just the 3 of us, plus my brother Michael. Then I couldn't forget about Brady, so I asked if Tish and Brady wanted to go eat with us. And that turned into my 15 yr old sis and her BF Aaron joining us as well.
{I have no pictures of Ryan because every time I'd snap the picture he would put his hand in front of his face.}
Of course we all had a good time even though it was raining cats and dogs.
On Saturday we woke up to clouds and drizzling rain. This was not good, considering we were suppose to hang out by Dave's pool. Well the sun did come out for about 30 minutes, then it started to rain again. We all headed to the garage where the guys played pool and Ryan played with the wheelchair. I kept tell Ryan to be careful cause he kept trying to pop wheelies. So Dave let him borrow his motorcycle helmet for protection.

Sunday morning I was up early, I had to make Ryan his special request birthday cake and breakfast.
Breakfast fit for a 12 yr old boy!
The family came over for a little birthday cake and presents. So fun!
When we were done with cake and present we headed to Dave's pool once again. Ryan loves going to Dave's pool. He's been learning how to dive and do front flips into the water.
After the sun went down Ryan started to ask where we were going to go watch Fireworks. Well Dave heard this and asked if he take Ryan to the fireworks stand that was up the road. I said sure if he wanted to. Well, about 20 minutes later they came back with this.
A box full of fireworks.
So the guys headed to the field and set off all kinds of fireworks, me and Brittany headed to the roof to wait and watch for their fireworks.
Here are a couple pictures that I was able to get (my camera was acting silly).
Happy 12th birthday Ryan!!!
You are the most handsome, thoughtful, sweetest young man this momma could ask for. I'm so blessed that you are my son.
