Yay Baseball!

Last Monday, was opening day of the 2010 baseball season. I have always wanted to take Ryan to opening day and every year I would always forget about it. Well, this year I didn't forget but I was too late to get opening day tickets. So we had to settle for the 3rd day tickets.

Ryan was so excited, not really sure if it was because he was going to the game or he was getting to miss school (maybe it was a little bit of both). Jason was so excited about going to the game he went and bought all of us Texas Rangers t-shirts for the game. The weather was perfect, nice and warm but not too warm. The first 6 innings were very uneventful, Ryan even started to get frustrated at the lack of action on the field. He was waiting for foul ball to be hit in our direction. Then in the 7th inning Nelson Cruz hit a home run and the Rangers took the lead. But the lead was short lived because the Rangers closing pitcher came in and gave up 2 home runs. Rangers lost, but that didn't matter because we had a great time just hanging out.
