He thinks I'm awesome!

Every year since Ryan started school he has always received an end of year present. This year he has been really wanting the IPod touch. So I made him a deal. Of course, he has to make all A's. But this last six weeks Ryan was reasonable for keeping track of his grades. He did really well.
School is not technically out until Friday, but I thought he deserved his present sooner.

He was very HAPPY and made the sweetest FB status post.

And that is why Ryan got his present early.
Man, I love that kid!!!

One more to love

When I had Ryan, I never thought I could ever love anyone more than him.

He's growing up too fast

Then my sister, Tish had this little cutie pie and once again I never could imagine loving someone so much.
Brady blowing me kisses

The same is true for this sweet pea.  I love these boys so much I almost can't stand it. I seriously think my heart my burst. Ha!
That is a look of trouble

But I think my heart can stand another one, maybe two more.

Congratulation to Tina and Seth. I can't wait to find out if I'm finally going to have a niece to play dress up with.

Spring Concert 2011

This past Thursday was Ryan's Spring Concert. This is the concert that I wait all school year for because it is more relaxed and the kids don't have to wear their formal uniforms.
So, submitted for your viewing pleasure...Webb Middle School A'Cappella singing REO Speedwagon.

3 Things Thursday

1. As of today Ryan only has 21 day left of this school year. Then he off to Florida with his Grandma for his first vacation. I say first vacation because he gets to go visit with his Grandma, but he also gets to spend a few days with his Uncle Seth and Aunt Tina in New Braunfels. Then he of course gets to go with Jason and I on a yet to planned vacation. Ryan's votes is for the beach.

2. Tonight is going to be busy. Ryan has his spring choir concert at 6:45pm, then as soon as he is done. We have to book it to his baseball game because he gets to pitch tonight. Yay!

3. Only 2 more days until the weekend. Work has been so stressful and  I just need a nice relaxing weekend.

4.  Last but not least Happy Cinco de Mayo!!!!

Don't have to tell me twice

On Saturday, I was working in the yard. One minute I'm trimming the hedges, the next minute I look up and see this:

As you can image when I looked up and saw this I screamed my head off. I am so terrified of lizards or just creepy crawly things in general. I guess I wasn't too scared because I called to Ryan to get my camera.

Then I think Mr. Lizard got tired of me taking his picture because he did this and made a weird noise.

You don't have to tell me or show me twice Mr. Lizard. No more pictures.

Hard work pays off

This baseball season has been a little different than most. In years past, Ryan has always been on a winning team. This year not so much, but it has taught him a lesson in hard work. He has also been playing in outfield. Ryan was not very excited about that. Jason and I just kept telling him to work hard at practice and during the games. That's what he has done and it finally paid off. Friday after practice the Coach was talking with Jason, he let Jason know that he noticed that Ryan had improved over the last few weeks and he was going to start him out at 2nd base at Saturday's game.
Ryan did really really good. He caught a couple of balls and missed some as well. But the best play of the game was when he caught a fly ball at 2nd and threw to 1st for a double play baby! We were so proud of him. Between us, Jason even jumped up out of his seat.

Ryan and Michael W.
I was telling his mom that the coach doesn't know that he has put double trouble together out there together.
The boys were just hanging out while the coach changed out pitchers. Michael W. is a standout player.

Drewy was not interested in the game at all.

Getting a pep talk from Coach Paul

Although they lost again. I really think that the Coach was proud of them for all their all hard work for coming within one run and because of that he gave out 2 game balls.

The first ball went to Michael. He was 3 for 3 with 5 RBI's.

The second one went to Ryan, for making an awesome double play on his first start at 2nd.

Jason telling me "I told you so" (he knew Ryan would get a game ball)

Good job Ryan and Michael!

Easter 2011

I know this is way late but here goes.
We had a really nice Easter holiday. This year we went to my sister and brother in laws for a cook out and Easter egg hunt.

The Easter bunny left some treats for Ryan and Jason.

Brady so excited about hunting eggs. We almost missed out on the egg hunt because we were late and he was getting impatient.

We brought Kinsler and Maverick to help Brady find all the hidden eggs. Kinsler was a great helper.

Jason was a big help for all the eggs that were hidden up high. My BIL loves to mess with Michael and Ryan, he always hides a few in hard to reach places.

Nana and Brady

Brady must have been watching his daddy hide the eggs because he found a lot of eggs.

Kaitlyn and Aaron watching the boys running around.

Ryan and Michael scanning the yard for any remaining eggs.

Michael decided Maverick was tired and that he needed to carry her around the yard.

Later in the afternoon I was outside with the boys and we saw a momma duck and all her ducklings waddling down the street to one of the neighborhood ponds.

Michael being silly.

After eating our weight in fajitas and cake, it was time to get home so we could get ready for the work week.
