I don't know about you, but our weekend was B-U-S-Y. Our Saturday started out kinda early. It was family fun shopping day. Yay! Since Ryan has standardized dress in school, his closet his full of tan shorts, red/blue/white Polo's and very few regular clothes. So it was time to get that boy some new clothes.
Tish and Brady picked us up around 9:45 and we were off to the mall. Ryan was only excited about going shopping when he found out that his Aunt Tish was going with us. See, I have absolutely no fashion sense. I admit that very freely. I was basically going with them to pay for the clothes and to keep Brady occupied while Tish helped Ryan shop. He did walk away with a ton of clothes (JCP was having a huge sale). Then it was time for lunch. We were all starving especially Brady, but he got a glimpse of the carousal and wouldn't take his eyes of it. He got to ride his first carousal ride. But it wouldn't be complete with out his Bubba. So Bubba got on and took a spin with him.
We had one more store to check out and by this time both Ryan and Brady had had enough. Brady decided that he was going to crawl under one of the table displays and lay down.

That, my friends, was when we knew it was time to call it a day. Brady and Ryan were so tired that they passed out before we were out of the mall parking lot. When I got home a needed to nap because we were taking my youngest sister Kaitlyn to the Tim McGraw/Lady Antebellum concert. I guess I could say that it's kind of a tradition with Tish and I; to take our younger sibling to concerts. It's a good bonding experience (we did the same thing with my other 2 sisters: N'SYNC). I must say that I had a really good time with her. I'm beginning to enjoy her more that she is getting older. She told us that she had been listening to country music all week long. Kaitlyn also informed us that she didn't know one Tim McGraw song. Well I think we turned her into a Tim McGraw fan. Plus she couldn't believe that he was 42 yrs old and still good looking.
Here are some pictures from the concert.

The photos are courtesy of my good friend Dana. She and her husband were 6 rows from the stage. I was in the lawn seats and my pictures did not turn out so good.
Sunday was a regular Sunday, I cleaned the house and washed clothes. I waited as long as I could for the cleaning lady to get to my house but she never did. Then I realized, I am the cleaning lady. Ha! Anyway, I asked Jason if he could take Ryan to the movies so that I could clean without interruption. They ended up seeing the A-Team Movie (how I loved the TV show when I was a little girl). Jason and Ryan said it was a really good action movie.
I can't wait to start our vacation. Only two more days. I sure hope the next two days don't drag. Till next time ;-)
