Spring Break 2011

This year spring break was a just a tad uneventful. Since I just started my new job I didn't have much vacation time to take. But luckily, since we were slow I was able to take off that Friday. I wanted to do something fun for Ryan, but since he is on the verge of being a teenager nothing I suggest sounds remotely fun to him. Except for one thing.

Since I moved to Dallas (in May of  1997), I have been listening to Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. So eventually, it had to rub off on Ryan. Especially once J-Si joined the show four years ago. Ryan thinks J-Si is so funny. So funny in fact, that I have a hard time getting Ryan out of the car in the morning.

Anyway, I thought since I was able to take off that Friday we would go watch the show. Surprisingly, he was excited. So off to Las Colinas we went. It was relatively easy to get to since I now work in that area now.

We got lucky and not many people were sitting on the benches watching the show and we were able to get a good set. Then after awhile, during a break, Big Al Mac and J-Si came out to talk to us and film a short web episode.

Then Kellie and Jenna came out with them. 

While they were out there Al and J-Si decided to have a cartwheel contest.

Now this next set of pictures is not the best, but here they are.

If I remember correctly, neither one of them won. The winner was a 5yr old girl.

During all this, Ryan was getting to take pictures with all the morning show.

Suprisingly Kidd Kraddick never came out but that was ok, Ryan really only wanted to meet J-si & Al.

Ryan was a happy guy. I think I did good.
