Pretty little Princess
About two weeks ago our family got the best news. My sister Christina found out that she is having a little baby girl! She is beyond happy. This will be the first granddaughter in our family and needless to say she will be very spoiled. My sister Tish is also very happy that Christina is having a girl. She told me that now maybe Vanessa (our other sister, yes, I know I have a lot of sisters. Ha) will quit bugging her to have another baby.

Two peas in a Pod
My oldest, bestest friend Bonita came up this weekend to take her daughter Allison school shopping. Every now and then they will come up and spend the afternoon, but this time they stayed the whole weekend. Not only did we get to catch up, but our kids got to catch up too. Ryan and Allison are 6 months apart and act like they are brother and sister(although I think he secretly has a crush). I have to say that I think it is so dang cute how they are with each other. Ryan has recently started dressing in a more "new wave" look. He cut his hair short, got his ears pierced (I normally wouldn't agree to the earrings but if ya'll saw his long shaggy hair before, me no likely). Anyway, Allison and Bonita thinks his new style is super cute and spent Saturday trying to convince me of this. Not sure if I like it, but I did compromised with Ryan and let him have a couple of skinny jeans for school and he looked so dang cute.
I also have to mention that Brady as well as Ryan & Allison were so GOOD. I mean we started at 9:30am and didn't finish until 6pm and they were on their best behavior. No major meltdowns. Yay!
I really had the best time. Bonita, my sister Tish and I stayed up way too late Saturday night just talking about everything. I cannot wait until Sept 3rd, we're going to Waco to celebrate her youngest daughter's, Aspyn, 2nd birthday.

Last first day of Middle school
Today Ryan started the 8th grade. I can hardly believe how fast time is flying. It seems like it was yesterday that he was starting first grade.
Ryan all ready to start his day. |

He said that he had good day and that's about all the information that I got out of him. Huh, I guess that's life with a teenager.
