Paintball Birthday-Crazy picture post

7/9/10
Ryan has a new hobby/fascination (besides girls)...Paintball. This year Ryan wanted to celebrate his birthday with  his closest friends paintball'n. Since this was a milestone 13th birthday, I thought nothing about sweating it out in 100* degree heat. It was all worth it. Jason and his buddy Eric even decided to join in on the fun.

Here are the guys getting all their gear ready.
Michael all dressed out in his paintball gear.

 Ryan lying in wait.
Michael is a pro at this.

Off to run the Fort course.
No pictures of this, it was too hot and way back in a wooded
area.
Here is Ryan and all his buddies
Michael, Brandon, and Micky Wood
 They didn't seem too tired.
 These two guys were pooped.
I guess they aren't as young a they think they are. Ha!

Now Micky was super stealth. He only got hit once.

Ryan thought he was a hot shot walking in the open.

After lunch we decided to take the boys swimming to cool off.

All in all I think it's was a good day for both the grown ups and the teenagers.
Wow, a teenager! Just saying that makes me feel old. :)

Girls Day Out

7/2/2011 - Momma's Birthday
This year, my mom didn't really know what she wanted for her birthday. So I suggested that we have a girls days complete with pedicures, shopping and Mexican food. ha!
We started out getting our pedicures, trust me it was the most relaxing pedicure I have had in a long time. Then it was time for  a little shopping at the Allen Outlet mall. We hit the Nine West shoe store and my sister's made out like bandits with some really cute shoes. I on the hand was too reluctant to buy the shoes I was eyeing. We then went to the Coach outlet store. I have never seen anything like this, the line was wrapped and winding around the middle of the store. It was seriously CRAZY!!!
After about 10 minutes of pushing my way through the crowds we decided it was time to leave. And good thing it was about time for the our movie to start and we didn't want to miss a minute of it. We had decided to watch Bad Teacher. Now I was not that impressed with this movie,  especially since I was with my mom and 16 y/o sister. Talk about awkward.
But I think the best part about the day was lunch. I don't think we have really ever done this. We had a really good time; talking, telling stories and laughing.
By the end of the day we ended up at my mom's house helping to redecorate my sister Kaitlyn's room. It turned out great, just like our day. I really wish I would have taken my camera to get at least one picture of our day.
