I was going through the pictures on my phone the other day and saw this one.

I just thought it was so cute that they both were enthralled with the cartoon that was on the TV.  Those boys are two peas in a pod.

I cannot believe that Christmas is this Saturday. Man, has this month has just flown by super fast. I know, for me the next few days will fly by. But if you ask Ryan, I'm sure he'll tell you that Saturday is FOREVER away. He is super excited to see what he got for Christmas. The other night I caught him separating all the presents that are for him and inspecting them very carefully. You know, shaking the package to see if he could figure out what exactly is in that oddly shaped box. He is a mess.  I love that he still gets excited about the Christmas holiday.

Schools...closed

This morning I woke up to find out that there was no school today for Ryan., one wing of the school caught fire last night. From the news coverage it looks bad. I'm very thankful that no one was hurt...

I woke Ryan up to tell him about the fire this is how the conversation went:

Me: Ryan you don't have school today apparently there was a fire last night and so they cancelled school.

Ryan (in a sleepy groggy voice): Seriously...Are you joking?

Me: Really!?!? Ryan why would I joke about that?

Ryan (barely picking up his head w/one eye open): I don't know...(then drops his head and goes back to sleep.)

I know the kids are all excited about their day(s) off, I'm just sad for the school.
