This past weekend, I was going back home for a wedding. I decided that it would be a great time to go visit my best friend from grade school and high school, Bonita aka (Bubbles). She now lives in Riesel (30 miles outside of Bremond), well actually she lives about a mile out of that town. I had mentioned to Jason that I was going to go running (I'm currently doing the C25K and was on WK4/Day1) while I was there and of course he doubted me. So in order to prove him wrong I decided that would take a few pictures during my morning run.
I started out at 7:15 and this was my view coming out of her neighborhood.
This was my view coming around the curve. That is the new Sandy Creek Coal Power Plant. This plant is amazing looking when it is all lit up at night.
Here are my two new animal friends (I know you probably can't tell by they are donkeys). These two were really friendly, on my way back down the road they had come closer to the fence.
And this is me after I had run down the road, up the hill and over the bridge and back again all the while choking on a baby grasshopper that flew in my mouth at the beginning of my run.
I was so tired, but I had to have proof to prove Jason wrong. Plus since I ran that morning, I was able to have a piece of wedding cake and not feel gulity about it.
